Let's Explore this Status Known as 'SINGLE' (Advantages and Disadvantges)

We all know that the status known as “Single” is the state of standing alone. For some, the definition of 'single' could be a depressing thought. If you're single, admit it.. You're sometimes in the peak of loneliness that you're longing for companionship, especially during one particular anti-single holiday appropriately nicknamed “V-day”, individuals desire relationship status. Though true for some, many singles embrace their single-hood.

Advantages of being single

  • You can do whatever you want.  (No questions asked. No guilt about doing it either. You don’t have to make excuses. You don’t have to call your boyfriend/girlfriend to ask in on his/her permission to go somewhere)
  • You can have a lot of fun.
  • You can have fun and spend time with your friends.
  • You can really focus on your career, education, and goals in life
  • You have time to improve yourself and become a better person.
  • You are free. (You don’t have anything holding you down or back)

Disadvantages of being single
  • You won't have any one to say "I love you"
  •  You won't have anyone to do your work when u r not well
  •  You won't have anyone to hug when u r scared.
  •  Jealousy (You get jealous when you see your friends or other people together with their bf/gf, doing lovey dovey things while you’re all alone.)
  •  You want to give and feel loved (Not from your friends or family but from that one special person. All you can think about is making that one person happy in life.)

Don't be sad if you don't have special someone. Just always remember that happiness comes within yourself. Only you are ultimately responsible for your own happiness! Don’t depend on someone else for your happiness -- that is no way to live. Love comes when you least expect it! Just wait patiently.. =)
