Exploring Singapore

TRAVEL TO FORGET

Our trip to Singapore was unplanned. We booked the SG package tour in a travel agency located in Trinoma. I was torn between Hongkong and Singapore tour, but I still chose the latter because I really wanted to see the famous Merlion Park.

We boarded in Tigerair. Our flight was comfortable and on time. The travel time from Manila to Singapore is 3 hours and 40 minutes. After arriving at the airport we went to Orchad Hotel through a private van provided by our tour guide. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.

PLACES TO VISIT IN SINGAPORE

 MERLION PARK

The mythical Merlion with the head of a lion and the body of a fish is the Singapore’s national icon. This was the fist place that we visited on our first day in SG. The weather was good, and we were to able to take lots of pictures. The Merlion Park is completely free to visit.

It's even more beautiful at night.

USS (UNIVERSAL STUDIOS SINGAPORE)

On the second day, we visited the Universal Studios.  It is located within the Resorts World Sentosa and it features rollercoasters, rides and attractions, in addition to giving you the chance to meet some of your favorite cartoon movie characters.

USS is a must visit when you go to Singapore!

MARINA BAY SANDS

Marina Bay Sands is located at Bayfront MRT Station. It is one of the most striking landmarks in Singapore.

SILOSO BEACH IN SENTOSA

It is located in the southwest part of Sentosa Island. From Universal Studios you can ride a bus for free to get at the Siloso Beach.

Life is  meant for exploring and always look at the positive side of every situation.
Even when you feel at your lowest and it seems like nothing is going right, believe it or not, there is still something good taking place.

I created this blog when I was 19 years old. That was 2011 pa, and it was 8 years ago when I was really inclined to social media. I had different accounts in different social networking sites. hahaha :)

Siguro dahil hindi pa ko ganun ka-matured mag isip that time and all I wanted is to enjoy my teenage years. Since I'am an emotional person, I find it difficult to express my feelings verbally. Writing has been my way to express my thoughts and communicate with others.

Now I'm coming back again in the blogging world, for i know it will set free what I've been feeling deep down inside.

--sigh--

Happy Father's Day Papa! :))

Thank you for being the guiding star of my life who held my finger and showed me the right path of life. At times when my life was like a candle in the wind, you put your hands around so that all the burns were yours and all the light was mine. You provided us with all the essentials of good life without ever showing how hard it could have been for you to provide such a decent life to all of us. Thanks for always trying to make my loads light. Thank you for the confidence you gave me while growing up. Yes, I owe it all to you, Papa. I know that you are really proud for what and who I am now. I am very blessed to have a father like you. Thank you for everything. We may not say it often, but how could we let this day pass by without saying how much you mean to us. We love you a lot. I always see a friend in you, and I consider myself to be the luckiest daughter! You and Mama are my inspirations in life. It's so hard to find a man that can love me like only you can! We appreciate everything you did for us. You are the greatest Papa in the whole world! =))

We, your siblings, may not be good persons now without your guiding hands. We are extremely blessed because we have got such a great and a loving father. Wishing you a very great Father's Day with lots of love!! =))

Happy Father's Day Papa! We love you! :))

Jollibee Spaghetti + Jollibee Crisscut Fries = Jolly Me!! =))

I'm almost done sorting the books of my pupils yesterday! I wasn’t able to finish it because I was so tired and hungry!

Once my hunger strikes, I choose to eat at my favorite fast food chain, Jollibee! It is one of the best and biggest fast food chains here in the Philippines. Although it’s an American-style fast-food restaurant, it has Filipino-influence dishes such as palabok, crispy chicken, shanghai rolls with rice and more. Every time I eat at Jollibee, I always order Jollibee spaghetti with fries! So yummy!

Jollibee spaghetti with the new Jollibee crisscut fries really completed my day! Burp! So delicious!

First time to try Jollibee crisscut fries! Real potatoes cut into cool crisscut shapes, crisped and flavored to perfection! =)

I keep on coming back to Jollibee because aside from their yummy foods, their service is really gratifying! The guards on duty are so courteous, and the service crews are very prompt like bees! If there is also a problem, the manager is always there to the rescue. Remarkable!

             Thanks Jollibee! =))

Unlucky Sunday! (June 10, 2012 –SUNDAY)

I had another bad experience last Sunday because of the crazy people messing in the region of Manila!
I woke up at 5:00 in the morning to prepare myself for the LET review. When I arrived at Blumentritt, I rode again on a jeepney going to Taft Avenue.  I was the only commuter who will dismount at PNU. Since I was so fearful crossing the highway alone because of the huge ten-wheeler trucks that pass by, I decided to get off at Manila City hall and crossed via underpass. Before I arrived in school, I’ve encountered a horrifically lunatic old man who devastated my day! I really don’t know how to tell what has happened. I can’t find exact words to convey my thoughts. When I saw the appearance of this old man, it was so   blood-curdling! I didn’t show to him that I was so scared! I wanted to run, but I didn’t know where to go, so I just walked speedy as if I didn’t notice him. This was a very frightening experience! (sigh)
After a few minutes, I was already at PNU! Thank goodness the insane old man didn’t chase me!
Finally got my reviewer for the major subjects! I must review it over and over again to pass the LET! I can do this! God be the Glory! =))

I supposed to go home right after I got my reviewer, but because of what has happened, I made up my mind to stay in school. I couldn’t concentrate of what my former professor was discussing. I didn’t enjoy the review.
This scary experience really bothers me until now.
        Crazy people are everywhere!
I’ve already told my mom about this. She said that I should be careful next time! I’ve already decided not to go to school. I’ll just have my review at home!
This was the third time I’ve came across insane people. I don’t want to happen this again! Never again! =(

Love the New Look! =)

Have you noticed something different in my blog site? =)
Obviously, it has a new look!  haha =)
I’ve been searching for a matchless blog design ever since the first time I started a blog. I couldn’t search unique blog designs with codes suitable to blogger’s HTML codes, so I have no choice but to use the only available designs in blogger. Although each design has a theme, I am still not gratified since all of the designs are very simple.
I didn’t stop browsing different sites until I finally found a one of a kind blog design that really delighted me. Hahaha. What I like most with this new blog design is that, it suits my personality. As you can see, the lay-out is so exceptional and girly! I love the combination of color black and color pink, with flowery backdrop! haha.
Even though the new blog lay-out isn’t one of the available designs in blogger, all the widgets were not removed! Yippee! =)) I so love the new look of my blog!
I am always keyed up to put my thoughts into words because of the so much enjoyment that it gives me.  Feel free to browse and read my blogs! Keep visiting my site! Thanks! =)

Our First Ever Pets! =))

Love birds are among the most popular kinds of birds that are quite easy to care for.

Papa bought two pairs of love birds last Saturday; because he believes that having birds in the house bring good fortune and happiness! No wonder why many people believe this to be true because birds are such dynamic creatures, full of so much activity and song. A pet bird, or pair of birds, can liven up any home, make it a more joyful and lovely place to be. I named the first pair of our love birds as Chacha and Chirpy, while the names of the second pair are Chino and Chinee! Their names don’t have some hidden meaning! These are just for calling the birds by some reference or description.

Love birds are cheerful, companionable and loyal type of parrot. What I like most about them is their dedicated loyalty to their cage mate and also their deep liking for their owners. They are one of the most radiantly colored of the smaller parrots, and will try to imitate the noises of the humans they love.

We are so happy for having two pairs of love birds as our first ever pets!

Chacha and Chirpy! =)

Chino  and Chinee  =)

I believe that with good care and lots of love, our love birds will create wonderful pets. They will fill our home with their colorful rant and their even more colorful plumage. Based on my prior knowledge, giving them plenty of attention is one of the most important aspects in caring for them aside from proper feeding. You should interact with your love birds every day and as much during the day as you can, because love birds that do not get enough attention from their owners can become indolent and may be more prone to health problems.

Taking care of love birds really requires some commitment on the part of the owner, but surely, you will be rewarded by the affection your lovebirds give to you. . haha =)
